November Recap:
Business Wins, New Adventures, and Cold Showers!
Hey Guys,
November was packed with lessons, progress, and plenty of fun moments. Here’s the highlight reel:
A Hard Talk with Dad
You know those deep talks with your Dad (or whoever else) where he tells you something tough, and it just hits? Well, my Dad helped me realize that my problem was not trying before asking for help. I’d been relying on ChatGPT instead of figuring things out myself. So, I started trying first, and it’s been a game-changer. For example, I wanted to embed audio in a site, and instead of asking Chat how to do it, I figured it out on SoundCloud in 30 seconds. This shift in mindset opened a big door for me—I realized I can do anything if I just try.
Halloween with Friends
Halloween was a blast! We loaded up the truck and drove around, walking through neighborhoods, doing dumb stuff, and just making great memories with friends.
TailorMadeTunes.com Success
This month, we made three sales with TailorMadeTunes.com. Knowing I made money online feels insane. We’ve also added a landing page where people can get a free 30-second song sample before paying for a full custom song. Google Ads are running, and we’re branching into TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. I love how this is turning out and can’t wait to see what it becomes.
Fiverr Gig Win
My first Fiverr gig was building a website for my Dad’s friend who owns a car dealership. I had to integrate Airtable for an inventory system, and while it took way longer than expected, completing it felt amazing. Plus, I got a $25 tip on top of the $20 service—crazy that the tip was more than the gig itself! Check it out: myselectride.com.
Snowboarding for the First Time
I tried snowboarding (kinda) at a friend’s cabin. The sledding trail became our DIY snowboard course, and it was way harder than I expected not to fall. But by the end, I made it down without wiping out. My friends and I also used a snow skateboard for jumps, which was hilarious—we fell every time but couldn’t stop laughing.
Ice Cream Madness
I love ice cream, and this month I learned you don’t need a machine to make it! My friends and I made ice cream using baggies and salt. It was a hit, and now I want to experiment more with it in the future.
Skiing for the First Time
I went skiing for the first time and absolutely loved it. I thought I’d be more of a snowboarder, but skiing felt so natural. After a 5-minute lesson, I was off. Maybe I’ll do both, but skiing definitely has me hooked.
Gym Progress
I got a gym membership, and in just one month, I’ve seen crazy progress. My strength has shot up, and mentally, I’ve gotten tougher. There’s something about pushing yourself for “just 5 more reps” that makes you grow in every way.
Cold Showers and Pushups
On October 27th, I started daily cold showers and 50 pushups. The showers were brutal at first, but halfway through the month, I started looking forward to them—it’s like getting a win first thing in the morning. Pushups have been amazing too. I started with 30-10-10 reps, but now I’m hitting all 50 in one set with perfect form. These habits are making me stronger physically and mentally. Throughout the entire challenge, I never missed a day, so I challenge all of you to just do something a little difficult tomorrow. Maybe it’s a quick cold shower or turning it cold at the end, or just doing a pushup a day. Whatever it is, I know it’ll only make you stronger!
That’s November for you! I hope you found some inspiration or entertainment in this month’s recap. Thanks for reading, and I’ll catch you next month. (P.S. Sorry for posting this late)
See you soon,
Michael
